For the past 10 or so years we have enjoyed breeding from some of the mares we have had in training. This gives us a lovely continuity with some wonderful National Hunt pedigrees and families. Although it makes me feel very old as I am now training the great-grandchildren of some of the horses I first had in the yard in 1998!

This year we have had 4 foals – 1 colt and 3 fillies.  Combe Flory has a filly by Jack Hobbs, Upbeat Cobbler a filly by Passing Glance, Briery Vixen a filly by Passing Glance and Speed Bonnie Boat a strapping Schiaparelli colt.
